Warning!!!

For those of you who watch what you eat...

Here's the Final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Aussies, British or Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Aussies, British or Americans.

3. The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Aussies, British or Americans.

4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Aussies, British or Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the Aussies, British or Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is what kills you.

Hahahaha guys this is just for fun....language does not make sense on your health, it is about how do you maintain your health by food consumption.

Yours Truly... TESL SM!

Let's begin... After three, yeap... three semesters in our foundation, we are definitely one big happy family. All the things we went through thought us a lot, to be frank. We went through our lives together and shared our feelings together.

Of course, we still have a long, long way to... OK... Stop making this post emotional, wouldn't you?

Now, we present, The Family of TESL SM!

Ilanggo
He's our King [Duncan], he's our Master-Ji, he's our 3rd Sem KO, but the first and foremost... He's our CherryBoy! Huahaha... Hails from Taiping, Perak, the only Indian in SM, though he's like too BIG to be PPISMP. Gyahaha... Whatever it is... GoGo, you're truly the best KO... Huhu

Rachel
There's a zombie on your lawn... Rara ah ah ah... Fork... Here comes Rachel, the girl with the most creative head in all of Gaya that Edward de Bono would like to see her. Her mind is filled with this crazy super duper, outlandish ideas that no one else could think off. Her hometown is where else but KK!

Hamy
If you want to talk about anime, especially Naruto, this is the person that you should talk to! What's more, he likes Harry Potter... The Malay version of it... Hahah. He comes from KL, and is currently unavailable to the public. Hamy was our very first KO!

Dzulkamal
His mom is a BM teacher, while he had chosen English. So, what we can conclude here? Language flows inside him... Dzul is quite serious, but he is a also a funny person, but his jokes have meanings... What's special about him is that he can create a pantun in a jiffy... Like GoGo, Perak is his home state.

Jennie
Jennie [again, Jennie, not Jenny!] or her real name Tie Yin2 comes from the neighbouring state of Sarawak, more accurately in Miri. One of two Chinese here [besides Rachel], Jenjen is quite an annoy... err... easygoing and independent person... Hahah... Her English is great too!

Aina
The only student from the island of Penang, most of her statements come from a heart filled with emotions... Hahah! Plus, Aina is daddy's girl! Well, that suits her because she's a good and understanding person [though again, she's emo... Hahah!].

Fred
Our drummer all the way from Sibu, Sarawak... He has a music band, known as Kaset Kosong. Quite a tall guy, Fred is quite outspoken and honest in many instances. Like him? Fred is not available. Sorry. Hahah...

Amirah
OK... Another Perakian in our class, Mira is a girl you don't wanna mess about, trust me! She's maybe your choice for your future MP for her outspoken thoughts and opinions and because of the way she speaks. Emo detector? That's Amirah.

Nadzirah
Another SM TESLians from Sarawak... What to say about her? She's beautiful... and 'blur' 95.9% of the time. Nad is so quiet in the class... Hahah... The good thing? Her English is good!

Amalin
Lin, according to her, comes from Kelantan. Like Nad... What to say about her? Let's just say, she's taken... Hahah. Oh yeah... She's our JPP and her name's not Amalina! Hahah!

Raihan
Raihan's a Kedahan who is becoming very, very loud in our class. We don't even know why... Hahah... Nah... She's a good girl and always put her family as her first priority. Huhu...

Mus
Here comes another Kedahan is our class. We call him Montok, because he's one... Hahah... When he blush, we can see it... He's also our JPP, and also our class DotA representative.

Syed Noor Yazeed
Syed said he is cute... OK... That is what he said la! Hahah... SNY's our class joker and always makes our senses to be tickled... Rachel also named him as the Coffee Bean of the Year. Now though, one trifle thingy is bothering him... Haha...

Zell
Full name: Auzellea Kristin... Mouthful~! Prefers to be called as Zell! She is the most petite our class, but she scored the highest in our Mock Exam... Huhuh... What's more, she's good in Photoshop. Plus, Zell is a B-girl! Yaww!

Afiq
OK... Nothing to describe about me, but well, to be random, I'm one of only two left-handers in TESL SM, I adore chocolate and Photoshop, and I love TESL SM! Gyahahah

LOL

Next Sem's Syllabus

Whoa! Next semester is like *this* close [if you use geological time]. Can you imagine it? This is our last Foundation semester. Lalalala...

Anyhow... For our next semester - our first semester for degree - we will end our relationship with IPG Kampus Gaya, and begin a new year with UiTM Shah Alam... Even our holidays follow the UiTM calendar...

Well, what's serve for our first degree semester?

Linguistics
Literature
Counselling
Philosophy
TITAS

Not forgetting, the thing that will truly make our lives a living disaster...

PALAPES!

Whatever it is:

Degree, here we come!

We are Champions!

We are champions...

IF WE CAN ADMIT THAT WE DID THINGS WRONGLY SOMETIMES

IF WE DO THINGS FOR OUR OWN FUTURE AND FOR OUR OWN SAKE, NOT BECAUSE OF OTHERS

IF EVERY DAY WE GO THROUGH IS FILL WITH HAPPINESS EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A TINGE OF UNTOLD SADNESS

IF WE CAN SMILE ALTHOUGH WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF LOSING

IF WE FIGHT NON-STOP WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT THE END.

We are champions if we have hopes and believe...

That life is the grand prize of any champ.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything they have.

I THIS 'QUOTE'

This is very true..Not necessarily we must have everything in order to get a easy life..
noting is easy in tis world..
v have to work hard to achieve anything in our life to feel satisfy for our effort..
there is no challenge if we got everything without effort..

same goes to the quote up there..if we have everything, den there is no reason we are living in this earth..
GOD brought us to earth to see how v live in the body he gave us!
n he will give us the result based on our effort..

  1. IF V ARE HARDWORKING AND WORK HARD TO MAKE OUR LIFE WELL..HE WILL GIVE US THE LIFE V WANTED TILL THE DAY WE LEAVE THE BODY..

  2. IF WE TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED AND USE SHORTCUT AND EASY WAY OF EARNING SOMETHING..HE WILL GAVE US MISERABLE N A CHANCE FOR US TO CHANGE BETTER..
This the concept of live basically...its easy to follow...the matter is whether how we lead our life and our mentality..

For now, all of us have only have ONE main aim..that is to complete our tasks given..

N at the same time study for our finals alongside our MUET..
We really need to brush up our language bha..
We need to pass through to degree 1st..n den we can plan our life throughout our degree and next level..

GOD bless us for a bright future and blast living..

Friendship ;)

Friendship is a gift from God to mankind. The relations that we get in this world are all blood related. The only special relationship that we can get is friendship.

Friendship started so innocently when two of the people met as strangers and thrown together by fate. But somehow, everyone of them enriched your life. They guided you through the often turning and forking road of life, been through good and bad times together, comfort you when you cry, held you when you are afraid, laugh together with you when you are happy.

Friendship comes in many forms and shapes. It takes different shapes and forms according to our heart.

According to the philosopher, essayist and also a poet of America, Ralph Waldo Emerson, said that the glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship.

All of us need friendship to complete our lives, because no man is an island, agree??? =)

TESL SM's Suka-suka Trip

7th and 8th of August are truly the greatest weekend for all of SM TESLians. Why?
because we went for not one... but two trips! Wheeeheee~!

Day 1: Karambunai / 1Borneo
After we got back from Saturday classes, we prepared ourselves and went to Karambunai by three cars... The place is a resort located around 20km from KK, in Sepanggar. Some say it's heaven, but because we were there in the afternoon, the heavenly feeling was not too much, though the place in magnificent! Gyahahah!

We were supposed to go to Tuaran Crocodile Farm later, but because of time limits, we changed our plan, and went to 1B instead. Just walking around and having karaoke session beramai-ramai... Huhuh... So, that's how the first day ended!

To the star [or the sun, maybe... It's the afternoon!]
Just for the pic!
Big chessboard and chessmates plus a Murut warrior!
After the karaoke session!
Karaoke session on the verge to begin...

Day 2: Monsopiad Cultural Village / Lok Kawi Wildlife Park
The best part of our trip... We went to Monsopiad Cultural Village, immersing ourselves in Kadazan-Dusun culture. Monsopiad was a warrior who beheaded the heads of enemies 300 years ago. Admission price: RM20. We began our trip there with a culture show by the troupe. The dances performed were Sumazau, Sazau, Murut Warrior Dance [plus a blowpipe show, featuring Amirah who was chosen to shoot a balloon - even from point blank, but failed to shoot properly... Hahah... Anyway... One word... ENVY! Gyahahah], and Magunatip. We also got the chances to try the Sumazau and Magunatip. After that, we went around the Village with a guide who showed us the Monsopiad and Kadazan culture. We saw real skulls, Gintuton do Mohoing [if it's right], Tangkob and paddy products, crossing a suspension bridge and going to the replica of a Kadazan house and it's compound, where we let our hands to try the lastics, blowpipe, traditional games, music, eating fresh rambutans from a tree, and eating Sago worms [only two of us had the guts to do it, really... EUWWW!]. As tokens of appreciation, we were given a nice bead necklaces. It was a great culture-enriching experience.

3 hours later, Lok Kawi awaited us with their wildlife. The unique thing: it's mating season. Period.... Errr... We got a glimpse of tigers, ankole bulls, sambar deer, orang utan, reptiles, and many more others, plus managed to walk into an aviary, and an animal show. Here, Zell braced herself to touch a snake [whose skin felt like plastic. Not slimy at all] while Mus hided a grape from a kind of animal that looks like a squirrel, albeit larger. The park makes us closer with the animals... Huhuh

Live: Macbeth

During our second semester, as a part of our curriculum for

ENGLISH STUDIES

Macbeth was our Shakespearean treat...
[Wow, that man sure knows how to bugged
people even after his eternal death... Mwakakah].

What's extra special about that time was that...

WE GOTTA ACT!
WE GOTTA ACT!
WE GOTTA ACT!
WE GOTTA ACT!

So, for one whole busy month... we practiced our pronunciation, ACTability,
voice projection, arts, crafts and stage direction, etc...

As there were [and still is lah!] three classes [SM and two SRs],
we were divided into five, with each took an act from the play...

After one month scrambling and making ourselves into perfection, the day came,
and, simply put, our sacrifices paid off...!
Our Macbeth poster, beautifully crafted by ZELL...
She's a great Photoshopper~!

What else to say then to rejoice the fact that...
Shakespeare,
I don't understand YOUR English!!!

Retromaniacs

A tradition of TESLians in IPG Kampus Gaya, no matter if they are from PPs, PIs, or KPLIs is that every year, exclusively in March, a grand event know as TESL Night will be held, and this year, the MARJON 2 [which are not with us now] had organised a wonderful and blasting night with the name:

Annual TESL Night Dinner: 70s and 80s Retro - A Blast from the Past

So, the once-in-a-year event is held in The Palace Hotel near Karamunsing starting from 8pm, with the arrival of Mr Subra, our deputy director... and then the partayyyy startayyyyy~!!! Performances from each class, including us, presenting a rocking b-boying performance on the stage with the sounds of Bad Romance from Gaga... Huhuh... Nad and Fred meanwhile, are chosen as our class' best-dressed for the night though they didn't win. The food? Well... Heheh.... Before the partay finished, we danced and grooved to the retro music and then club songs... Gyahaha... So that was how the great TESLians event went on...

So now, for next year, it's up to us to make another TESL Night... Let's make it better than this one, and make it the unforgettable one, shall we?

Ya'll. See Ya' Guys and Gals Next Year!

TESL Camp 2010

The TESL Camp is held for all PPISMP TESLians every year, and for this year's camp, it was held in our IPG compund, well, except for the second day, where we went to... Kundasang and Ranau~! Wheee~! The camp is truly and unforgettable experience!

Day 1

Our first day began with the breakfast and then followed by Ice Breaking, conducted by Group 1. Each group made their own logo, name, and cheers during the session. Cute, Awesome, Jubilant, Unbreakable, and Glamorous. After that, there was the bomb game where we bombed each other by saying:

[Put own group name here] bomb, [Put own group name here] bomb, [Put own group name here] bomb to *********** bomb (*********** being the name of other groups)

As usual, anything fun will be followed with something serious: forum, and as always, it's ZZZZZZZZ... but, we your speech, Mirah~! Huhuh

Next was the number one tiring and awesomely fun activity of the day, Treasure Hunt, where the contestants needed to go to different stations in different places and did respective activities in each respective station like:

1: Poem Extract
2. New Lyrics for Old Song
3. Home-made Twister
4.Idiom Taboo
5. Fill In the Blanks
6. Arrange the pics

Day 2

The greatest trip in our 19-years-old life [so far]... The trip to

KUNDASANG AND RANAU...
Awesomenesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss~!

We started our journey with buses at 5.40 in the morning. The great Mt Kinabalu, misty mist [what else?], lush greens, and out of the world scenery greeted us along the way. Our first destination is for our school visit, SK Pekan 2, Ranau in the outskirts of Ranau. All of us experienced the feeling of being teachers for the very first time. All of us went to the Kundasang War Memorial after that a place where the valiance, hardships and bravery of the Australian, British, and New Zealanders soldiers who fought the Japanese are remembered - the Prisoners of War (POWs) who marched 260km in the Sandakan Death March during WWII. The great words: Lest We Forget.

Our trip went on and it's time Kinabalu Park~! Believed us... Mount Kinabalu. is the last thing in our mind... REZEKI REZEKI! Surrounded by the great green forest, the air was so cool and refreshing. Some more pics and then we went back to IPG. Of course before that, some souvenirs. Our bus made a stop at Pekan Nabalu and bought remembrance for our visit.

So, I had told you about our first two days of the TESL Camp. Now, lets continue on with the happenings in the third and the last day of it.

Day 3

This day began with the usual breakfast before we went to block E for our next event, Storytelling session. This session required each group to send two contestants to tell us a story. Before they began, they chose a set of cards. The card set contained 10 papers with random words from each word classes. While reading their story, the cards will be flashed out one at a time and they must insert the word on the cards into their story. In the evening, we had LANGUAGE GAMES. Among the games included were Taboo, Yes or No, Connecting sentences, Hangman, and No Words Allowed. It IS the best and fun way to learn English.

And of course the highlight of the third day was the TALENT-TIME~!!!
Each group presented a skit based on the theme that they got like Sci-fi, Horror Comedy, Legends. Plus, there were also singing, dancing and fighting shows from the SM TESLians.

Day 4

The day of the closing ceremony where three groups needed to present their choral speaking. After that, the speech from the chairman, SYED NOOR YAZEED! As the cream of the crop, the slideshow of our activities during the camp was prepared by ZELL!.

So, our ZERO BUDGET TESL Camp came to an end with smiles, laughs, and hopes. 48 students all in one aspiring dreams!
